Track Of The Day - The Pit Edition
Fast & precise Brazilian thrash metal from the mi-80's for fans of Slayer, Kreator & Sodom.
Mid-80's Bay Area thrash for fans of Testament, Metallica & Exodus.
New York thrash metal at its finest.
New York thrash metal at its finest.
...yes it is!
Rip-snorting Californian thrash metal from earlier this year.
Californian technical death-ish thrash metal from the early 90s, recommended for fans of Coroner, Vektor, and Revocation:
Classic mid-80's thrash metal from New Jersey, USA. For fans of Exodus, Anthrax & Testament.
Thrashy progressive metal from Quebec, Canada. For fans of Vektor, Coroner & Watchtower.
Aggressive Teutonic thrash for fans of Slayer, Celtic Frost & Motorhead.
I'm glad to finally get fully interested in Voivod, thanks to you, Daniel! My slightly older love for Coroner is definitely one of the reasons for that recommendation, so here's another Coroner classic (by the way, I'm sure the missing chorus lyric is "Hatred or justice, die right off"):
And don't worry, I'll listen to and review the Cremator EP, which might definitely never will hit this thread...
Just give it a fair chance Andi. You might completely disagree with me on that one. :)
Yeah, I always try to go into listening to something with an unbiased ear. If you go in assuming you're going to hate something, you generally will.
Also, I've found (throughout life really), that Daniel can often be wrong.

I've just been salty ever since you openly mocked my love of Summoning on the Metal Academy podcast.
That's one instance where I'm not wrong. I'm sure it wasn't pure coincidence that you force fed me some Summoning for the November playlist & it was one of my least enjoyable moments in October. I think it gave me hearing AIDS. ;)
Some very underground late 80's thrash metal from Melbourne, Australia. The vocals are pretty dodgy but there's a very cool dark atmosphere going on here that I find attractive,
An early Aussie thrash metal anthem from my teenage tape trading days.
A surf-based crossover thrash anthem from New York, USA. For fans of S.O.D., Carnivore & Scatterbrain.
Late 80's thrash metal from Atlanta, USA. For fans of Anthrax, Lååz Rockit & Sacred Reich.
Blisteringly brutal Los Angeles thrash metal from 1988. For fans of Dark Angel, Vio-lence & Slayer.
Classy New Jersey thrash metal for fans of Exodus, Anthrax & late 80's Metallica.
Not played this album in ages. The title track is still amazing.
Brazilian thrash metal from 1988. For fans of Defiance, 80's Metallica & particularly the first couple of Testament records.
