irunak James-Lee's Reviews
I'm enjoying this release, I am new to the band, ""Millenarian'' is the first I hear from them, and I like it so much, I have to listen to all the tracks!
It is straightforward hardcore-metalcore influenced metal, with a sound and structure that keeps you groovin' ,attentive and having a good time.
I like that the vocals are intense, yet not screechy. The raw, crusty guitars are well defined , the overall sound is smooth with just enough grit.
Anyways, hear for yourself, a sound is worth a million words..
I recommend ''Millenarium'' as being a very good to excellent recording, representative of its style, likely to attract a wide range of listeners.
Good stuff, check it out!

I discovered this band last night, had never heard of ''Abhorration''.
Man, this album is a blast!!! If you're a metal fan, particularly of brutal death metal, it is impossible not to like!!!
There's a ''screechy'' voice, not tiring to hear, that alternates with low guttural grunts chanted from the gut straight up, really nice and rolling,
with variety and original expression in the way he modulates his voice, you get the feeling sometimes that he has his mouth almost closed and teeth clenched!
This is the best type of vocals for me. He doesn't sound like a squealing sow.
The drumming is nuts, took me by surprise, the guitar as well, it has to do with how brutal it is, yet effortless and not one bit overcharged, the sounds blend so well and the recording breaths, you just feel like cranking the volume way up and go wild! No harsh or annoying sound fatigue here. Just listen to the first track!! You understand in the first seconds....!
There are 10 tracks on ''Despondent''-The ones that are an immediate favorite were 1, 6, 8, and 10 (the ending is a must)
Then 2, 4, 7 and 9 each with at least half the track being a blast.
Nos 3 and 5 sounded more ''conventional'' (to my taste)
I recommend this album in particular to help spread a gem, a sound is worth a million words,
I'm sure most people are going to have the reflex to crank the volume way up on this one!

Stoma leaves no doubt as to their commitment in offering unapologetic authenticity to what they do!
The cover art is a masterpiece of disgust, for an album I consider essential.
It is a fact that many times bands with the worse names, art or titles can be some of the best!
'
I consider Stoma as ''Deathgrind'' although with more ''grind core'' in the mix then ''brutal Death''
as we can tell from the cool opening track. 'In grind we crust''
The fast beats and vocals have the core but the sound when things slow down, heavy guitars riff away ,become playful,
with the wild fast drums blasting before a march beat.!
Then there's the track 'cum hole armageddon''', so damn cool, if you would listen to only one track, it has to be this one, almost an anthem,
one the best metal themes ever! You',ll want to jump in the mosh pit!
The album goes by, quickly and you're left wanting to keep it close for another listen, .
It's nasty, fast and much more accessible than a first glance at the cover would suggest!
It's 30 min of good metal fun!

Foetopsy is definately a Band you want to hear if you're into Brutal DeathGrind.
There are 2 albums listed here on the site, but they also have released:
2003 - Bizarre Gynecology (EP)
2009 - Foetopsy & I Shit On Your Face [Split]
They deliver a really ''chunky '' Deathgrind mix, with some of the best drumming ever !!!
The singer is great, , a low guttural voice that blends in perfectly,
All the good about this music catches the ear right from track one.
What else I like about ""Dyspartum'' is that even though I love my Brutal Death Grind
in the slowest and the fastest, Foetopsy , as savage as they are, maintain a dynamic that is just right
and keeps you wired and interested, there is no time for a dull moment
It is original, satisfying, a gem of an album in a collection.
I strongly recommend this album and encourage you to check out the band "Foetopsy' to hear and decide if you agree.
Wishing all members of the clan(s) a good one with metal music tonight:)
