Metal Academy Radio Playlist Suggestions - The Guardians Edition
Here's my submission for the August playlist Xephyr:
Black Label Society - "Death March" (from "Mafia", 2005)
Here's my submission for the August Guardians playlist:
Dark Moor - "Somewhere in Dreams" (from The Hall of the Olden Dreams, 2000)
I have some suggestions for the August playlist...
Helloween - The Sage, The Fool, The Sinner
Manticora - 1944. Playing God
Mercyful Fate - Burn In Hell
Morpheus, I just found out that your Helloween track submission is not available on Spotify. If you're up to replacing that one with one or a few more submissions (as long as the total length of your submissions is under 30 minutes), please feel free to do so. I'm glad you're contributing more to this recently nearly-deserted clan, Morpheus. The Guardians need you!
Is Rage - Light into the Darkness (the acoustic version, if possible) okay?
I just checked on Spotify & that track is available in my region so it should be fine.
Pagan Altar - "Samhein" (from "Mythical & Magical", 2006)
Here's my submission for the September Guardians playlist:
Freedom Call - "Metal is for Everyone" (from Master of Light, 2016)
Here's my submission for the October playlist Xephyr:
Amebix - "Chain Reaction" (from "Monolith", 1987)
Here's my submission for the October Guardians playlist:
Saviour Machine - "A World Alone" (from "Saviour Machine", 1993)

Here's my submission for the November Guardians playlist, last one from me:
Savatage - "Back to a Reason" (from "Poets and Madmen", 2001)
Here's my submission for the December playlist Xephyr:
King Diamond - "Behind These Walls" (from "The Eye", 1990)
Here's my submission for the January playlist Xephyr:
Cool Feet - "The Man From Marakesh" (from "Burning Desire", 1976)
Here's my submission for the February playlist Xephyr:
Amaranthe - "Crystalline" (from "Manifest", 2020)
Hi Xephyr, may I make a suggestion for February which is:
Acid - "Prince of Hell and Fire" from "Maniac" (1983)
Hi Xephyr, now that the complete DragonForce discography is available on Spotify, I thought I would seize the chance to request a song from one of the formerly unavailable DragonForce albums (The Power Within, Maximum Overload, Reaching Into Infinity), so here's my rare Guardians suggestion, for the February playlist:
DragonForce - "The Edge of the World" (from Reaching Into Infinity, 2017)
Here's my submission for the March playlist Xephyr:
Bitch - "Riding In Thunder" (from "Be My Slave", 1983)
Here's my submission for the April playlist Xephyr:
Angra - "Angels & Demons" (from "Temple of Shadows", 2004)
Daniel, I just found out that your Angra track submission is not available on Spotify. It's extremely odd that almost all the Angra albums have been removed from Spotify, at least in my country. Please feel free to replace it with a different submission, if you have one in mind.
This is a common occurrence Andi so I wouldn't worry about it. Most of your playlists include a track or two that aren't available in Australia but it's too hard to manage so I don't do anything about it. Let's leave my submission as it is as that track is available here (unless of course Xephyr can't see the track in his location).
Here's my submission for the April Guardians playlist:
Avantasia - "The Scarecrow" (from The Scarecrow, 2008)
Here's my submission for the May playlist Xephyr:
Yngwie J. Malmsteen - "You Don't Remember, I'll Never Forget" (from "Trilogy", 1986)
Here's my submission for the May Guardians playlist:
Freedom Call - "Freedom Call" (from Crystal Empire, 2001)
Here are my June submission(s):
Cacophony - "Savage" (from "Speed Metal Symphony", 1987)
Here's my submission for the June Guardians playlist:
Trivium - "Endless Night" (from The Sin and the Sentence, 2017)
