May 2026 - Feature Release - The Guardians Edition

May sees it fall once more to me to pick the Guardians feature release. I have selected last year's debut full-length from L.A. USPM crew Serpent Rider, "The Ichor of Chimaera". I was contacted via RYM by Brandon, the main guy behind the band, when it was released, asking me if I would check it out and write a few words. I am glad he did because I really enjoyed it. USPM with female vocals similar in style to recent favourites of mine, Smoulder. Give it a spin and let us know what you think either via a comment below or as a full-fledged review.
