Apparently Katatonia are going a bit more electronic on this new, just announced record, so I'll throw it in The Gateway. I really enjoyed Fall Of Hearts when it was released so I'm hoping for this change or evolution of style to be just as good!

The new single from Atlanta alternative metal establishment Sevendust. It's a cover version of Soundgarden's "The Day I Tried To Live".
The new Korn single which is a cover version of Charlie Daniel's 1979 classic "The Devil Went Down To Georgia".
The new single from Sacramento-based alternative metal outfit Deftones entitled "Ohms" which is taken from their upcoming album of the same name which is due for release on 25th September.
Taken from the brand new Sevendust album "Blood & Stone" which was released last week.
Rage Against The Machine's "The Battle Of Mexico City" live video was released way back in 2001 & has finally gotten a digital audio release late last month..
A track from the upcoming "Black Stallion" release from Deftones which is essentially a collection of remixes from their classic 2000 album "White Pony". It's due for release on 11th December (presumably to celebrate my 45th birthday - Oh guys, you shouldn't have!).
The first new material from Californian alternative metal legends System Of A Down in 15 years comes in the form of this two track single.
A taster from the upcoming live-in-quarantine Katatonia release entitled "Dead Air" which is due for release on 13th November.

While She Sleeps seems to have taken the alt-metal direction further than before, but this is still a killer banger that makes me up for their upcoming album Self Hell to be released 6 months from now:
A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus are set to drop a new joint EP, "Sessanta E.P.P.P.", in celebration of their upcoming joint "Sessanta" tour. The EP will feature a new song by each band that was co-written alongside Maynard James Keenan. The track titles are: "Kindred" (A Perfect Circle); "No Angel" (Puscifer); and "Pablo's Hippos" (Primus). The EP will be released on March 29th, just days before the tour kicks off. It will be available digitally and on vinyl.
Australian alternative metallers Northlane have a brand new E.P. coming out on 12th April entitled "Mirror's Edge". I really enjoyed their 2022 sixth album "Obsidian" so this one might be worth a look too.
