The Stinkers Thread - The Sphere Edition
Thumbs down for this synth-driven sh*t:
This sh*tty interlude does nothing for me at all:
A f***ing embarrassment of cheesy 80s electro-synths and rapping-like vocals in the verses:
A techno-pop sh*tter that I would rather not talk much about:
The lack of balance in some songs from this Mechina album can stir up a few failures, with this one being the worst, most flat-sounding sh*tter there:
One of the best songs in Soul of a New Machine is unfortunately f***ed up by the overuse of techno beats that can be quite traumatic for the more deathly metalheads:
A weak love ballad that marked a poor letdown of a closing track for Rammstein's breakthrough album:
The otherwise crushing riffing in this track seems to implode, which makes the song fall f***ing flat. And that's tough when it's a song named after both this band and another band named Synthetic Breed.
This sh*tty downer doesn't really add anything, and it's best to just ignore it:
This Alice Cooper cover would've been great, but Vorph's attempt at singing it ruins it all:
This stinker fits well with its name, being far too weird for its own good:
How is "Useless" weird though? Sure, it utilizes dissonance fairly heavily but that's hardly unusual for industrial metal, is it? I quite like "Useless" actually. "Crumbs" is the only track on "Filth Pig" that I struggle with.
I find the heavy dissonance to be a little too weirdly used on that one, Daniel. Now that I think about it, "Crumbs" really would be a slightly better choice for this thread. It's too... crumby. Haha
The messy writing in some parts of Empyrean makes another flat sh*tter, basically this album's "Internecion":
A rather terrible sh*tter going back to the messy side of the previous two albums:
