8-Track Themes "The Thrash Pit"

1) We begin with 8 tracks centered around a theme. This theme is "The Thrash Pit" and the idea here was to create a high energy thrash setlist optimized for moshing!

2) What you want to do now is take that same theme, but replace, reorder, add, drop, and discuss around the theme. The idea is to simulate listening parties, build community, and have a good time.

I'd like to do away with Sodom's "Napalm in the Morning" as I've always found it to be a little flat. In its place, I've gone for an early Aussie thrash metal classic in Tyrus' "Bubonic Plague" from their self-titled 1986 demo tape.

I love me some Voivod, but that track is just speedy heavy metal at best, and its original album is from the band's dive into classic heavy metal in the 2000s. I replaced it with this Destruction track that I listened to a couple years ago and still think it's a classic from a well-known thrash band. The aggressive riffing and drumming can easily cause listeners to headbang and air-guitar to this tune. The riffing will stay in your head due to all of its catchy fun. If you ever wanna play some of those impressive mind-blowing riffs on guitar for your friends to hear...why not? "Curse...the GODS!!!!"
