September 2026 - Feature Release - The Horde Edition

Blackened death metal from me this month for my feature release nomination for The Horde clan. Portugal's The Ominous Circle live up to their band name on this, their sophomore release from last year. Not as straightforward as the blackened death metal tag I opened this post with may suggest, there's a cacophony of influences going on here ranging from Dead Congregation through to (early) Gaerea, even stretching to the more experimental style of Portal.
