Hi Sonny, I just noticed that you included the wrong Ethereal Tomb song on the playlist. You have it listed correctly above, but you included the title track from the album by mistake.

Playlist amended. It does make it a little bit longer at 2hrs 7mins, but that's OK I'm sure. Let's call it a bonus!

Ha ha. I had to check back to see what I nominated in the first place, as a sub-3 minute song from me really stood out as rather unusual ;-)
Had a couple of listens through this one and another solid month.
Graves at Sea – I had this down originally as my feature release for this month but changed it last minute for Messa and glad I did as this track hasn’t worn well since I originally picked it.
Doomshine – vocally this is just wrong for me.
Opium Lord – this is more like it, not heard these guys before and good to see a UK band.
Ethereal Tomb – standout track. Nasty sludge goodness.
Mourning Beloveth – boring, trying to copy MDB to my ears.
Sunn 0))) – heard this album a couple of times and they are starting to grow on me (finally))).
Monolord – more death metal than I recall them being previously.
Slow – absolutely crushing, I am calling this regular funeral doom ending to the list a “Sonny Special”

Fortunate that I spotted that Sonny originally had the wrong song included I guess.
Another great playlist Sonny, ending on the customary funeral doom note. I need to listen to some more Slow (not sure I have heard all the albums).
Graves at Sea are a strange one for me, sometimes the vocals are a bit to much for me.
Both Smote albums from 2025 are really good, and that's another great track selection.
Other picks added to the further listening list: Opium Lord, Ophis, Wildspeaker and Eternal Rot.
Oh and I'll wait for the album release before another Warning listen. Be good to listen again in the context of the full album, the track here bodes well.
