The Stinkers Thread - The Fallen Edition
I'm not in the Fallen, but...behold, the worst song to ever exist in a metal album!
Why the hell include tracks like this on an album of this sort of quality:
Too much of an ambient song to fit in a band like Paradise Lost. Their worst tune EVER!!!
A sh*t-storm made of some of the weakest gothic metal lyrics ever:
The French spoken part in this song from one of The Fallen Modern Era albums is so awful that I don't even... Y'know, maybe I'm just not into spoken narrations in gothic metal, yeah that must be it.
Too much of a rock-ish tune that doesn't help the weakest link in Charon's discography, Sorrowburn:
The most pointless track by this usually awesome band:
There were a couple of real duds on Within Temptation's 1997 debut album "Enter" however I have the most issues with this one:

Surprisingly, this song I still think of as one of the most epic pieces of gothic doom I've heard since first listening to this band in my earlier epic metal taste 7 years ago. I guess this is another one of those examples of our metal interests being different from what we are each used to, Daniel.
I'm not sure why you'd close your comeback album out with this travesty of musical justice to be honest.
This otherwise good song is totally ruined by Lars Eikind's cleans sound awkward and more overly dramatic than melancholic:
