Lååz Rockit's "Know Your Enemy"
1987's "Know Your Enemy" is generally regarded as Lååz Rockit's first genuine thrash metal release but I disagree. There's still more traditional heavy metal on offer here than there is legitimate thrash in my opinion. In fact, half of this material sounds much more like Queensryche than it does Metallica & for that reason I'd like to see it go into The Guardians whilst retaining its current position in The Pit.
This release has been added to the Hall of Judgement.
I've never listened to Lååz Rockit before and, although I did enjoy this quite a bit, this seems like an easy one to me. Outside the first two tracks there seems to be very little thrash-wise, most of it sounding like the early USPM albums I listened to when I started one of the Guardians clan challenges. Still a good record though.
I've decided to pass this Hall nomination based on the conclusive YES 6 NO 1 vote tally. "Know Your Enemy" has been added to The Guardians under the eavy Metal genre.
