Upon a Burning Body's "Fury" should be under groove metal

First Post December 20, 2025 02:34 PM

Since the 2019 Upon a Burning Body album Southern Hostility, the band was making their transition from metalcore to groove metal, completing their move with their new album Blood of the Bull. The album between those two, Fury has the heavier riffing and mid-tempo pace of groove metal blended with the melodic but not overly melodic metalcore riffing. So I'd like to submit Upon a Burning Body's "Fury" to the Hall to be added to the Pit as groove metal while maintaining its position in The Revolution and metalcore.

This one is already tagged under Groove Metal exclusively Andi. Did you mean to have it added to The Revolution & got your words back the front?

I'm referring to their album Fury, which is exclusively under metalcore. https://metal.academy/releases/36784

Oh, I see my mistake now. Sorry. I read it differently.
