Amaranthe's "The Catalyst" should be under symphonic metal

First Post March 21, 2024 12:45 AM

Amaranthe still have their trance-metalcore sound going on, but in their new album The Catalyst, they have a more prominent symphonic metal part of their sound than before. Many songs like the title track, "Damnation Flame", "Stay a Little While", and "Breaking the Waves" have the synthesized symphonics and melodic riffing that make up the symphonic metal genre. With that, I'd like to submit Amaranthe's "The Catalyst" to the Hall to be added to The Guardians and symphonic metal, while staying in The Revolution and melodic metalcore.
