Krigsgrav - Fires in the Fall

I've been going through my back catalog to round out 2023 and found this record from Texas based band Krigsgrav. Upon listening to it in full, I can confidently say that I do not hear any melodic death metal influence on display. For a band that has previously employed an atmospheric black metal texture, this record does still retain some of that foundation, but this time with more melodic leads, especially in the vocals. That being said, this conflation of melo-death and melo-black is greatly overblown.

As such, I think that Fires in the Fall does not belong in the Horde and should be kept exclusively in the North clan. Perhaps as a secondary request, the sub-genre tag of "atmospheric black metal" could be added as well, but is not necessarily required, since melo-black and atmo-black share many similarities, and that is displayed no more so than on this album.
