Sylosis' "Casting Shadows" and "Conclusion of an Age" should be added to The Revolution
I have a lot to say about which clans Sylosis should end up in, because although I consider the band's sound in their 2010s and 2020s albums a mix of thrash and melodeath, I don't think I can say the same for their earlier material. Let's proceed to two of their earlier releases, Casting Shadows and Conclusion of an Age. These releases shows a more thrash/melodic metalcore sound similar to Trivium at that time. The melodic riffing is more around the hardcore side instead of the extreme yet melodic side of melodeath. So I'd like to submit Sylosis' "Casting Shadows" and "Conclusion of an Age" to the Hall to be added to The Revolution and the melodic metalcore subgenre, while maintaining its position in The Pit and The Horde (the latter clan I'll propose removing from Casting Shadows in a separate submission).
I've now posted the nomination for "Conclusion of an Age" in the Hall of Judgement. I've also passed the request for "Casting Shadows" as it now qualifies for inclusion in The Revolution.
