The Ocean's "Pelagial" isn't atmospheric sludge metal

The Ocean's 2013 "Pelagial" album doesn't actually include much of the post-sludge metal of their earlier days. It's much more of a progressive metal record with the post-metal & sludge metal components being more secondary so I'd like to see the album removed from The Fallen clan & the Sludge Metal & Post-Metal genres.

I've added this submission to the Hall of Judgement.

Although The Ocean is known for their blend of post-sludge and progressive metal, Pelagial is definitely a more progressive ocean. You can only find a small bit of ambience around the surface, and a couple sludgy tracks at the crushing bottom, with practically everything else in between being as progressive as progressive metal can be. So I agree with you on this one, Daniel.
