Watchtower's "Energetic Disassembly" is speed metal

I've just realized that Watchtower's debut album is closer to speed metal than technical thrash. It's basically a mix of progressive metal and fast NWOBHM-influenced metal with thrash techniques in riffing alongside melodic leads. With technical complexity added into what speed metal is known for, I consider the album more of a technical mix of progressive metal and speed metal, with elements of the technical thrash genre that wouldn't take full form until at least Coroner's R.I.P. So I'd like to submit a couple Hall entries for Watchtower's "Energetic Disassembly" with the proposal for the album to be:

1. Removed from thrash metal and the technical thrash metal subgenre.

2. Added to speed metal with its conventional subgenre.

All while staying in The Infinite and progressive metal.

These two submissions have been posted in the Hall of Judgement.

This is an interesting one Andi as I've never felt that "Energetic Disassembly" was a thrash metal record to tell you the truth. To my ears it's a progressive metal release with a few thrashy parts. I can't say that I remember much in the way of speed metal though so I've gone with a YES on one Hall entry & a NO on the other.
