Machine Head's "The Blackening" isn't thrash metal

Despite the being a noticeable thrash metal influence to Machine Head's highly regarded 2007 album "The Blackening", it's much more of an influence than a primary genre. Therefore I'd like to see the Thrash Metal genre removed from the release with it staying solely under Groove Metal.

Can't say I agree. It's not as speed-oriented as Metallica, but it's certainly heavier and more thrash-oriented than any album Pantera ever released. Some of it straight up fucking jams in that same way.
