August 2026 Featured Release - The Pit Edition

Here we are in a brand new month and with a brand new feature release for The Pit, this month selected by me. I have gone for an album I have only recently discovered, it being the 1989 debut full-length "Bajo una luna cámbrica" from proggy chilean thrashers Dorso. Personally I think there is a fair bit on here that should appeal to many in the wider Metal Academy membership, not just members of The Pit.

I've enjoyed Dorso's 1993's "El espanto surge de la tumba" album since first discovering it back in my tape trading days but haven't heard anything else they've done. I shall watch this thread with interest.
