Requests for The North Releases/Bands to be added to Metal Academy
Good call Rex. I slightly prefer the Inferno Festival set but still hold a lot of love for the Wacken one so I'll be awarding it an impressive 4.5 star rating.
Hey Ben, could you please add:
Beorn's Hall (US)
Blood of Serpents (Sweden)
Dewfall (Italy) [they are listed on RYM as Dew Fall, but I believe it should all be one word as per Metal Archives]
Temple of Evil (Cyprus)
Also could you add the 2019 album "Hex" from Finnish black metal band Wyrd.
Admittedly these are all for a cover art list I am working on, but I am familiar with albums from all these bands and have rated at least one release from each.
Feel free to request bands for whatever reason you like Sonny. If they have good artwork, it's more enjoyable for me anyway.

OK, thanks, Ben. Will do.
Hi Ben, could you please add Finnish black metal act Vinnfrost - their sole album "Initiation" has brilliant cover art by Gorgoroth vocalist Atterigner.
Do you mind adding Canadian black metallers Bludgeon Oath please, Ben?
Hi Ben, could you please add russian atmo-black duo Frozenwoods.
Hi Ben, any chance of adding Árstíðir Lifsins' latest release, the Hermalausaz EP?
Hi Ben, could you please add portuguese one-man project Sardonic Witchery. Thanks!
Hi Ben, please could you add:
Óreiða (Iceland)
Hi Ben, I'm sure you are on top of it, but could you add the new Darkspace, Dark Space -II, please?
Could you add US one-man black metal act Void Ritual please, Ben?
Hi Ben, could you please add quebecois black metallers Nälzer?
Hi Ben, please add the new Obsidian Tongue EP, "The Stone Heart". Thanks in advance.
Hi Ben, could you add the new Etoile Filante album, Mare tranquillitatis, please?
Hi Ben, could you please add Satanic North from Finland (couple of the guys from Ensiferum have gone in a more conventional bm direction).
Could you add Above Aurora's new album, "Myriad Woes" please, Ben?
Hi Ben, I have just been looking at the Emperor live releases and note that for 2009 you have the "Live at Wacken Open Air 2006 - a Night of Emperial Wrath" album and the "Thus Spake the Nightspirit - Live Inferno" EP. There was also an album called "Live Inferno" released which was on 2x CDs with a live set from the Inferno Festival on disc 1 and the Live at Wacken Open Air 2006 set on disc 2. I have a copy and can confirm it is a genuine and official release. Could it be added please?
Hi Ben, when you'll have time, could you please add these bands:
Minas Tirith (Norway)
Sigrblot (Sweden)
Seigneur Voland (France)
Kristallnacht (France)
Mørkriket (Germany)
Theotoxin (Austria)
Tenebrosus (Poland)
Thule (Iceland)
Curse (Iceland)
...and Seth's (France) upcoming full-length La France des maudits ?
Note that I can't add releases that haven't been released yet, as I need to have clarity of what clan, genre and subgenre they should be added to. I generally wait until releases have had around 50 ratings on RYM, as the genres have usually been solidified by them.
Hey, what's up? hope you're having a sick ass day dude, Aufnorden and Compatriot have 2024 releases that aren't on here yet. Cool stuff, last one is argho/gbk sounding. Other black metal stuff that I sound wasn't on here yet are: Pergale, Hakenkreuz, Xantotol (they have an EP so they count, right?), Thor's Hammer, Lust, Benighted Leams, Acheronian Dirge (i'd say essential but sadly very forgotten usbm). Sorry if I request a lot, thank you.
No need to apologise. I'm more than happy to prioritise adding requested bands over random bands that no-one is listening to.

Well, sounds obvious now that you said it; I'll keep that in mind!
Hi Ben, please can you add German black metallers Black Forest to the site?
