Review by Gator for Summoning - Minas Morgul (1995)

A fischer-price keyboard and a drum machine does not an atmosphere make. This is really stretching the definition of what qualifies as metal, but there is tremelo guitar thrown in. Is there no standard anymore!? You're going to wish that guitar wasn't there, because it sits high in the mix and it's annoying, displeasing, dry, grinding, jarring, shrill take your pick I just didn't want to say grating in one of these reviews again. This is Trolkien inspired and it's just every bit as boring as those shitty movies. Throw this into the fires of Mt. Doom.
