Assemble the Chariots' "Unyielding Night" is more than just symphonic metal/deathcore
The full-length debut by this Finnish symphonic deathcore band Assemble the Chariots can actually also be considered melodeath with the heavy riffing and growled/screamed vocals often getting into that stylistic territory. Also, while the album's sound includes the fast melodic guitarwork, anthemic hooks, and conceptual lyrics all frequently heard in albums from The Guardians genres, specifically power/symphonic metal, it would seem redundant and unfitting for a heavy deathly album like this to be in that clan. So I'd like to send Assemble the Chariots' "Unyielding Night" to the Hall with two submissions to be:
1. Removed from The Guardians and symphonic metal.
2. Added to The Horde and melodic death metal.
If the latter entry passes, I'd like to encourage Horde members to vote in the symphonic death metal subgenre.
I've passed these nominations uncontested Andi.
Thanks Daniel.
