The Hall of Judgement: Boris - Akuma no Uta

Request: Boris' Pink album should be considered Non-Metal and therefore removed from The Fallen.

This change would remove the Sludge Metal and Stoner Metal genres from the release.

Member comment: "This album is generally regarded as a stoner metal release with RYM also placing it in the sludge metal camp. I completely disagree with this position. Firstly, if you examine the original release, there's really no more than five minutes of the 31 minute duration that fall into the metal camp. The re-release sees that extended to about 12 minutes via the extended opening track but regardless of which version you look at, I think this record sits most comfortably under the stoner rock banner with noise rock & drone metal being worthy of secondary tags. There's absolutely no trace of sludge metal on offer so I have no idea where people are hearing that.  So what I'm proposing is that we remove Akuma no Uta from The Fallen & have it labelled as Non-Metal."
