The Hall of Judgement: Death - The Sound of Perseverance

Result: With a vote tally of YES 5 NO 0, shadowdoom9 (Andi)'s request to have Death's "The Sound Of Perseverance" album added to The Infinite on top of its existing position in The Horde has been upheld.

This change added the Progressive Metal genre to the release on top of its existing Technical Death Metal one.

Member comment: "The final album from death metal pioneers Death has progressive metal all over it. The technical drumming, powerful guitar melody, and structural twists are all progressive and complex, with barely any death metal other than the vocals. This is more like deathly progressive metal for an accurate label. So I'd like to submit Death's "The Sound of Perseverance" to the Hall to be added to The Infinite with the progressive metal tag. And if it receives enough YES votes to be accepted, I might consider a second entry for the album to be removed from The Horde."
