The Hall of Judgement: Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle

Request: Mr. Bungle's self-titled debut album should be removed from The Gateway while maintaining its position in The Infinite.

This change would remove the Funk Metal tag from the release.

Member Comment: "While there's obviously a big funk component to Mr. Bungle's 1991 debut album, the metal & the funk components are rarely presented at the same time & funk is just one of many different elements that contribute to the final product. Therefore, I think it's a stretch to claim it as a pure funk metal release & feel that the avant-garde metal tag is capable of pulling everything together without the requirement for a support tag. For that reason, I'd like to see 'Mr. Bungle' be removed from The Gatewat & reside solely in The Infinite."
