The Hall of Judgement: Queensrÿche - Empire

Daniel has requested that this release be submitted into the Hall of Judgement. If you agree with the below change request, vote YES. If you don't, vote NO.

Request: Queensryche's "Empire" album should be removed from The Guardians.

This change will see the Heavy Metal genre removed from the release.

Member comment: "Queenryche's 1990 fourth album 'Empire' is currently listed under both Heavy Metal & Progressive Metal but I feel that both tags are incorrect with the record sitting much more consistently in the progressive/hard rock space & only two genuine metal tracks included in the tracklisting. 'Empire' sounds like a more complex version of Def Leppard's 'Hysteria' album to my ears so I'd like to see it removed from The Guardians & The Infinite & placed in the Non-Metal bucket. This particular Hall of Judgement entry is to have the album removed from The Guardians & the Heavy Metal genre. Even if you do think 'Empire' is metal, it would surely be better served by a Progressive Metal tag than a Heavy Metal one given that there's not a single track on the album that I'd deem to sit comfortably under your more traditional Heavy Metal tag."
