Review by Jacob for Mirrorthrone - Gangrene (2008)
This was made by one guy who I don't think ever tours, and it's a masterpiece. This album contains one of the songs that got me into black metal, and extreme metal in general (So Frail) and was the first CD I ever bought physically since it's such a deep cut. Two of its six tracks are in French, but the narrative is easy enough to follow if you google translate it (ik it's never one-to-one, but it's close enough to follow). Heavily recommend.
