RESULT: With a result of 14 Yes to 1 No, illusionist's request has been upheld by the Hall. This release has therefore been added to The Horde and given the Death Metal genre.

Member comment: "Focus is canonically considered a landmark album in death metal. While its current home in Infinite is also appropriate due to the extremely progressive and experimental nature of the music, I feel that Cynic are still enough of a death metal band at their core on this album (harsh vocals everywhere, riffs that would go on to inspire legions of techdeath imitators) to warrant placement in both. Almost feels a shame to not have Focus in the death metal lists. "
